Starting Thursday morning (9/13), campfires inside city limits, tribal residential areas, and campgrounds will be permitted. Camp fires, or recreational fires are required to be clean fire wood, no bigger than 3', in a designated ring or pit, 10' away from other combustibles, and used for either cooking or warming. Just an update, fire season along with the burn ban is still in effect. Fire Danger is still listed as HIGH. We are monitoring the weather closely as moisture is right around the corner. Only small recreational fires (cooking or warming) of clean firewood, propane, and charcoal is permitted at this time. Be a good neighbor and help keep our community safe.
